Paramannam


Ingredients :
Rice – 1 cup
Jaggery – 1 1/2cups
Milk – 2 cups
Ghee -1/4 cup
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
Dry fruits – 1/4 cup
Wash and soak rice for half an hour.  Cook in two cups of water till soft. Add milk and cook again.  When the rice absorbs the milk  add  grated  jaggery and cook for ten minutes more..  Add ghee and cardamom powder ,mix well and remove from fire. Decorate with dryfruits fried in ghee.
This can be prepared with cooked rice also . you can cook the rice in only milk and also substitute sugar with jaggery.
